How to Play
The youngest participant starts the game. The player to their left draws a card and reads the question aloud. All questions begin with “Name 3…”, followed by a variety of topics. If any participant cannot read, another player may assist them. If a question is unclear, it can be explained or replaced with a new card.
As soon as the question is read, the timer is flipped. The timer runs for 5 seconds, and within that time the youngest participant must give 3 answers. For example, to the question “Name 3 things you would find in a hiker’s backpack,” one might answer: “flashlight, sleeping bag, compass.” If the player answers in time, they move their game piece forward by one space, and the card is placed at the bottom of the deck. If they fail to answer in time, their piece stays in place, and the turn passes to the next player. The game continues clockwise.
Winning
The winner is the player who first reaches the finish on the game board.
Timer
Each full turn of the timer lasts 5 seconds. That is the time given to name the “3 things.” The timer’s sound effect adds an extra bit of excitement.
Disputed Answers
If an answer is questionable, players can discuss and decide together whether to accept it or not. Answers can also be checked online if needed.
Alternative Ways to Play
To make the game more fun, you can also play in pairs (teams of two). Make sure not to shout answers at the same time—respond one after another.
We wish you an enjoyable game!
