This game widens the child's knowledge about the world and countries. The child will learn about continents and oceans, and the majority of countries, and will differentiate their flags. The game will enhance the child's memory, attention, fine motor skills, develop spatial orientation, and prepare the child for the educational process.

The game consists of double-sided wooden board with a world map on one side and the tri-lingual names of 36 countries and their flags on the other. In a separate bag, you will find small flags of those countries. On the back of the flag, you will find information about the capital, language, currency, location, and surface area of each country.

Ask the child to arrange the flags correctly. The game can be played with more than one player.
As you learn about each country, draw on paper its symbols (e.g., the Russian matryoshka), dishes, and so forth. Tell the child about the country's unique features, traditions, climate, flora and fauna. Also, share interesting historical events associated with that country.
Ask the child to find a country and its flag.
With younger children, ask them to quickly arrange the flags without worrying about matching. This will help develop their motor and attention skills.
Ask the child to identify a country based on the color and then try to remember the country based on its colors.
Place 5-7 flags in front of the child. Turn them over for 10 seconds and ask the child to remember or draw them on paper.
After learning about the countries, you can teach them the capitals.
Explain to the child the meaning of flags and ask them to create their own flag with colors and features that are important to them.
Suggest the child to imagine their own continent and country. What would it look like? Where would it be located? Would it have a hot or cold climate? What kind of people, flora, fauna, and rules would work there?
