Ask the child to choose a color, then find the other picture of that color in the puzzle. Offer to remember other images of the same color and, if there are any around, find and point them out. Together, you can also draw the images that the child thought of.
Pick any image. Decide on the shape of that image. Then ask the child to use that shape when drawing the image. For example, a circle as a part of the snowman's body.
Select a few pictures, and then ask the child to connect those pictures with meaning and causation.
Put puzzles together that do not correspond. Ask the child to find and correct the mistakes.
Ask the child to distinguish and group single-color and multi-color images.
